As needed. Variable days and shifts to include weekend/holiday coverage. High school graduate or equivalent education. Ability to communicate well and expediently handle clerical control systems is required. Rotating shifts, weekends, and holiday hours required. Valid driver's license in the state of Delaware. Ability to work independently in a quick and professional manner. One year experience working with patient care supplies and equipment is preferred. An understanding of the use/purpose of Medical/Surgical supplies and equipment helpful; experience with storage and distribution of supplies desirable. Responsible to the Distribution Supervisor for receiving, inspecting, verifying, controlling, storing and accurately issuing materials, supplies, and equipment to all departments within Beebe Medical Center and related Family Health Centers. One-year experience in a mailroom or related area preferred. Delivery experience and knowledge of local roads helpful. Responsible to the Distribution Supervisor for receiving, inspecting, verifying, controlling, and delivering items and materials (for example: Mail, Supplies, medications, specimens, reports, x-rays, etc.) to Beebe Medical Center satellite locations and physician offices within Beebe Medical Center and related Family Health Centers.
